1. Procuring Optimal Pattern Material

2. Initial Expansion Phase
Polystyrene's expansion is facilitated by pentane as a blowing agent. The following demonstrates a bead pr-expanded using a fluidity bed dryer.
3. Precision Molding
For crafting the pattern section, pre-expanded EPS beads are propelled through a fill gun into a metallic permanent mold using compressed air. In the mold, post-heating, beads bond to shape the intended pattern geometry. Explore our meticulous molding process below.
4. Strategic Pattern Assembly and Mounting on Gating Systems
Complex geometries are segmented and assembled into a complete pattern post-foaming and drying. Multiple patterns are then mounted onto a unified gating system forming a cohesive cluster.
5. Expert Coating of Clusters
Clusters are expertly dipped in a water-based refractory coating, achieving a precise 2mm thickness for optimal performance.
6. Mold Filling Precision: Positioning the coated cluster in a flask, quartz sand is meticulously filled using a sand raining feeder and compacted via a vibration table, ensuring the cluster is perfectly embedded, sparing only the sprue.
7. Precision Casting
A down sprue is strategically placed over the EPS sprue. Molten metal is then poured into it, cascading into the gating system, breaking down the EPS cluster and intricately filling the mold cavity. Witness the decomposition process detailed below.
8. Expert Demolding
Upon the molten metal's solidification, the castings are formed and conveyed to the subsequent shot step for meticulous cleaning.
9. Advanced Sand Processing Department
Post-demolding, the used sand is conveyed to an advanced processing system for efficient recycling and reuse.
