When it comes to cast iron and steel parts, our choice is clear: a robust copolymer of EPS and EPMMA. This specific combination ensures precision and durability in every casting process.
2. Pre-expansion
Watch the transformation as the polystyrene magnificently expands, thanks to the powerful pentane blowing agent! Below, behold a bead that’s been pre-expanded to perfection using an advanced fluidity bed dryer.
3. Molding
With precision and care, the pre-expanded EPS beads are expertly propelled through a fill gun into a permanent metallic mold using compressed air. In this heated sanctuary, these beads unite to form the exquisite pattern geometry you envision. Dive into the detailed molding process below to witness this artistry in action.
4. Pattern Section Assembly and Mounting
Ingenious design comes to life as complex pattern geometries are distilled into simpler sections. Post-foaming and drying, these sections unite seamlessly into a complete pattern, artfully mounted on a gating system to form a sophisticated cluster.
5. Coating of the Clusters
Immerse in innovation as the assembled clusters are enveloped in a water-based refractory coating, achieving a precise 2mm thickness, readying them for the next stage of excellence.
6. Mold Filling
Positioned masterfully in a flask, the coated cluster is enveloped with quartz sand via a sand raining feeder. Vibrations compact the sand impeccably until the cluster is fully embedded, leaving only the sprue exposed for the casting marvel to follow.
7. Casting
Aligning flawlessly with the EPS sprue, the down sprue invites molten metal to cascade gracefully into the foam pattern's gating system. 8. Demolding
