For aluminum die castings, we select expandable polystyrene with pentane, a highly effective blowing agent that ensures optimal expansion. In contrast, for cast iron and steel parts, a robust copolymer of EPS and EPMMA is employed to meet the high demands of these materials.

2. Pre-expansion Process
The polystyrene undergoes efficient expansion, thanks to the action of pentane as a blowing agent. Observe below the pre-expanded bead, perfected using a fluidity bed dryer for maximum effectiveness.
3. Advanced Molding Techniques
To craft the actual pattern section, propel the pre-expanded EPS beads with precision through a fill gun into a permanent metallic mold using compressed air. Within this mold, the beads bond seamlessly during the heating phase to achieve the desired pattern geometry. Delve into the detailed molding process outlined below.
4. Strategic Pattern Section Assembly and Mounting
