Product Description

Main Structure

The disc feeder consists of a transmission mechanism, a disc, a base, and other parts. The motor is connected to the worm gear reducer through a first stage V-belt, and the reducer drives the main shaft to rotate, which in turn drives the disc to rotate. The bearings at the bottom of the turbine worm and reducer are immersed in oil for bath oil lubrication, while the rest of the bearings are lubricated by the lubrication system.

Use and Features

The Y4420B series disc feeder is mainly used for feeding new and old sand in casting workshops, and can also be used for feeding other materials of the same nature. Its feeding relies on a discharge scraper fixed on the adjustment sleeve of the disc feeder to scrape off the material on the disc rotating around the vertical axis, thus achieving the purpose of feeding. Changing the distance between the adjustment sleeve and the disc can alter the size of productivity. In order to reduce the pressure of sand on the machine, users should install a pressure relief device in the sand bin. The transmission mechanism of this machine consists of a first stage V-belt and a worm gear reducer. The lubrication parts of each reducer are forcibly lubricated with gear oil, making it easy to install and reliable to use. The adjustment sleeve is a matching part of the disc feeder, which comes in two types: round mouth and square mouth. Users can specify it when ordering according to their needs. The reducer adopts a turbine worm drive, and the housing is equipped with a ventilation cover for balancing the air inside and outside the housing. The meshing parts of the turbine worm are equipped with observation windows for observing the meshing and lubrication of the turbine worm.
