2. Pre-expansion Process

3. Molding Sequence

4. Assembling and Mounting the Pattern Section
To tackle complex pattern geometries, these are divided into more manageable sections. Post-foaming and drying, sections are assembled into a cohesive pattern and mounted on a gating system to establish a cluster.
5. Cluster Coating Procedure
The assembled clusters undergo a meticulous coating process, where they are immersed in a water-based refractory coating, achieving a uniform thickness of about 2mm.
6. Mold Filling Process
The coated cluster is strategically positioned within a flask as quartz sand is meticulously filled via a sand raining feeder. Vibration compacts the sand, ensuring the cluster is entirely enveloped, save for the sprue that remains exposed.
7. Casting Phase
A down sprue is precisely aligned with the EPS sprue. As molten metal is poured into this downsprue, it flows seamlessly into the foam pattern's intricate gating system. 8. Demolding Step
Once the molten metal solidifies, the casting takes shape and is ready to move to the subsequent stage for thorough cleaning.
